Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks for all that we have been blessed with, and in the cannabis community, we have more to celebrate in recent years than ever before.
With more states and countries globally reforming cannabis laws and allowing access to this miraculous plant, there are more and more people that can enjoy not just a Thanksgiving, but a danksgiving!
Check out recipes for some of our favorite cannabis-infused danksgiving dishes below! The best part about these recipes is that you can cook your favorite dishes as usual and infuse it with a simple substitute or an additional dank ingredient!
Everyone has their own favorite way of cooking a turkey, so we will roll with your wheel here and simply provide suggestions on how you can infuse your turkey with cannabis. Here are two of the simplest ways. For both, you will need to have cannabutter on hand. You can find a simple recipe for making cannabutter here.
Glaze the Turkey
One of the easiest ways to infuse a turkey is to simply glaze the turkey before or after it is cut with cannabutter. You can do this by simply using a BBQ brush to glaze the turkey while it is warm. This is best to do just before serving.
Pack it With Dankness
Our favorite way to infuse a turkey is to pack it with dankness. By packing it with dankness, we mean adding a good heaping helping of cannabutter to the turkey before cooking. This can be done by making a small slice in the skin on the top of the turkey and packing it with a good layer of cannabutter. Then simply stitch up the end where you made the incision and cook as usual.
To make canna-infused stuffing or dressing to go with your danksgiving dinner, all you need is some cannabutter. Infusion is simple. All you must do is simply substitute cannabutter for the butter or oil that your preferred preparation method calls for then cook like normal.
Remember not everyone is used to the dankness, so be sure not to add too much and always warn your guests before serving them with anything cannabis-infused.
