Cannabis edibles that are sold in dispensaries will always come with labeling that includes warnings. These labels and warnings make it obvious that these products are not just ordinary brownies, candies or beverages.
Keeping edible products in their original packaging and ensuring any that you make at home are also clearly labeled is a great way to be sure that older kids especially are aware that those products are not for their consumption.
