On October 17th of 2018, Canada legalized adult use cannabis across the nation. This was a historic and monumental event for the nation on several different levels. Citizens finally have legal access to a therapeutic medicine that has been used for thousands of years by many different cultures. Unfortunately, private agendas and elected officials have hampered our understanding and knowledge of the incredible cannabis plant.
However, with legalization in Canada, a new era of research and education is underway. We are now finally seeing cannabis studies and experiments of all kinds taking place all across the country. Already cannabis has an impressive list of medical conditions in which it has proven to help and even cure many health symptoms.
The Real Drug Dealers
Cannabis has a much safer history then what we consider traditional medicine today. For decades pharmaceutical companies have been granted the power to run rancid profiting from the production of habit-forming products. Instead of the stereotypical dealer on the street corner, their pushers wear lab coats and suits. Like all proper drug dealers, most of them drive high-end luxury vehicles like Cadillacs, Mercedes-Benz and Land Rovers.
From the doctors to the pharmaceutical execs along with their friends within the insurance world, they’ve all had an excellent grip on the world…up until now. It’s exciting to see what this green future holds. When we can conduct more in-depth studies and research about this miraculous plant, the sky may be the limit.
