It’s 2018! Don’t we deserve “smarter” bongs?
Enter the Puffco Peak, a battery-operated desktop concentrate vape that incorporates water filtration and Intelligent Temperature Calibration. Beyond looking beautifully futuristic, the “first-ever smart rig for concentrate consumers” makes conventional units look clumsy.
In the spirit of “sharing is caring,” Puffco made sure to design the Peak so that it can travel around the circle without losing heat. It also doesn’t hurt that it is wireless.
The unit heats up in 20 seconds and includes four pre-programmed heat settings. “Boost mode” makes sure not a crumb of budder or shard of shatter goes un-vaped.
With all of the power output, you might expect it to be high maintenance when it comes to charging, but it probably recharges faster than your smartphone—two hours tops, according to the Puffco.
Dab rigs have taken the cannabis world by storm since Colorado voted to legalize recreational cannabis in 2012. The concept takes some getting used to, and the process of using a rig can be intimidating for a beginner. Not only does it require cannabis concentrates—wax, budder, shatter, rosin, etc.—which deliver an astronomically more potent high than cannabis flower, but heating up most units requires either a blow torch or an electric coil. With the Peak, the wax is heated using a heated coil that in enclosed in the unit, so no one risks touching an open flame or hot metal in the process.
Oh yeah, it also gets you stoned out of your mind.
